Job summary

The University of Oregon is seeking an HVAC Control Technician in the Intercollegiate Athletics Department. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration of HVAC and related systems, and event support with building automation scheduling. Expect a Sunday-Thursday shift and a 1.0 FTE in a regular, ongoing appointment.

Minimum qualifications include a two-year HVAC program and several years of experience with HVAC control systems. Preferred licenses and CMMS experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited two-year heating/air-conditioning program or equivalent.
• Two additional years of qualifying experience may substitute for the two years of education.
• CMMS experience or related maintenance systems are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on preventive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of HVAC control systems.
• Replace worn parts and calibrate equipment; evaluate replacement options.
• Provide event support, including scheduling building automation equipment and on-site repairs.
