Job summary

Town of Cary’s Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources department is seeking Athletic Aide IVs to join the WakeMed Soccer Park team. This is a part-time, non-benefited, year-round position, up to 20 hours per week, with a maximum of 999 hours per year.

In this role you will supervise youth and adult leagues, support tournaments and events, open/close facilities, and assist with rentals. You must communicate effectively, multitask, and exercise independent judgment; a high school diploma/GED is

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Some supervisory experience in recreation activities preferred.
• Some experience working in an athletic facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of youth and adult leagues.
• Open, set up, and close athletic facilities.
• Assist with tournament and event preparations.
• Monitor park usage and attendance.
• Enforce department policies and relay issues to staff.
