Job summary

Morehead State University is seeking an Athletic Event Staff (IWS) to support game operations for seven Division I sports. The role will report to the Ticket/Facility Manager and involves setup, ushering, and ticketing during events at the Morehead campus.

The position is a student assistant, Monday through Friday evenings and some weekends, with an hourly rate of $9.50 and a start date of 08/21/2026. Prior knowledge of athletics is preferred and a positive, dependable work ethic is expected.

Job Summary

The Athletic Events Staff will report to the Ticket/Facility Manager. The main responsibility is for game operations for (7) Division I sports (Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Softball and Baseball).

Working Conditions

Due to the high level of responsibility and time required, this position works outside of regular working hours. Duties require evening and some weekend work. Occasionally during holiday periods. Work can be outside as well as inside (depending on sport). Semi-casual attire.
