Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Junior High/High School Athletic Event (Site) Manager for winter events. The role focuses on providing a safe, well-organized event for student athletes and attendees, under HS Administration guidance at athletic events.

The incumbent will handle setup, crowd control, staff coordination, emergency response, and post-event tear-down, ensuring equipment and facilities are secured.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to work positively with students, parents, and community members.
• Knowledge of district regulations and guidelines for events.
• Ability to lift, move, and set up event equipment.
• Knowledge or ability to learn sound system and scoreboards.
• Ability to collaborate with coaches, officials and administrators for safety.

Responsibilities

• Check gym/field set-up and ensure the game area is ready for play.
• Assist with set up of athletic fields/game areas per building administrator.
• Welcome officials and guide them to facilities as needed.
• Greet visiting coaches and administrators.
• Monitor and manage fans; keep crowded areas orderly and safe.
• Be visible to event participants and assist in emergencies.
• Escort opposing teams to locker rooms during half time and secure areas.
• Keep aisles/exits clear and enforce district guidelines.
• Provide first aid and call emergency personnel when needed.
• Help tear down fields/game areas and secure equipment.
• Lock unused offices/locker rooms and return borrowed items.
