Job summary

Butte Glenn Community College District is seeking an Athletic Equipment Technician to handle maintenance, inventory control, distribution, storage, and repair of athletic gear and related supplies. The role ensures equipment and facilities are prepared and available according to schedules and program needs.

The incumbent will maintain accurate inventories, promote safe equipment use, and support coaches, staff, and administration with special projects and athletic events as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED is required.
• Two (2) years of increasing responsibility in maintaining athletic facilities, uniforms, equipment, and supplies in an organized setting of student athletes; OR
• Any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inventory, distribute, store, and repair athletic equipment, uniforms, and related supplies.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are prepared, organized, and available per schedules and program needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and promote safe, efficient equipment use.
• Assist coaches, staff and administration with special projects, events, and athletic activities as needed.
