University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities area seeks an Athletic Equipment Manager, Bierman, to oversee equipment rooms for multiple sports. You will manage budgets, staff, and Nike/apparel contracts while coordinating inventory and compliance with NCAA/Big Ten guidelines.

You will lead part-time student staff, drive efficient resource use, and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely ordering and quality gear for teams and coaches.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time professional experience in a Division I athletics department.
• Demonstrated experience in ordering, fitting, repairing, and maintaining athletic equipment.
• AEMA Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and manage student workers for equipment operations.
• Collaborate with coaches to determine equipment needs and budget use.
• Liaise with apparel and equipment providers to order and design uniforms.
