Job summary

The Vail School District is seeking an enthusiastic Athletic Equipment Coordinator to manage orders, inventory, and distribution of uniforms and gear for student athletes across athletic programs.

You will coordinate storage, laundry, and equipment repairs, oversee game-day setup and transportation, and collect fees for damaged items while supporting the athletic department under the supervision of the Athletic Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with sports programs/teams preferable.
• Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities, as approved by the site Principal.

Responsibilities

• Orders, receives, inventories, maintains, and issues athletic equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
• Oversees storage and maintenance of equipment.
• Oversees laundry and locker room maintenance; arranges for laundering.
• Coordinates transportation and setup for home and away games.
• Requisitions supplies and inspects stock for repair or cleaning.
• Collects fees for damaged or lost items.
• Accompanies teams on trips and prepares cost estimates.
