Job summary

Antelope Valley College seeks an organized Athletics/Physical Education Facilities Coordinator to maintain and operate athletic spaces, equipment, and supplies for college programs. You will issue, receive, repair, store and track inventory while coordinating game management and safety for intercollegiate events.

The role also involves assisting the Athletic Trainer, traveling with teams, and helping with budget preparation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Two years experience in a college athletic and P.E. department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate the P.E./athletic room and training room; inventories and repairs equipment.
• Issue uniforms, equipment and towels; manage locks and lockers.
• Set up and break down equipment for classes and intercollegiate events.
• Coordinate game management, facilities, and officials for intercollegiate events.
• Assist Athletic Trainer; travel with teams and operate transport equipment.
• Assist in preparing athletic budgets and reports; maintain related records.
