Job summary

Shenandoah University in Virginia seeks an Athletic Director to lead a 23-sport Division III program, overseeing budgeting, compliance, and staff development.

The AD will mentor coaches, drive fundraising with the Office of Advancement, and work with Admissions to support enrollment while representing SU in the Northern Shenandoah Valley and beyond. This is a full-time, 12-month role with teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum master's degree in sports management or related field.
• Experience as athletic administrator preferred.
• Demonstrated fundraising and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee athletic department budget and NCAA compliance.
• Mentor coaches and staff; recruit and hire personnel.
• Lead fundraising efforts with Advancement.
• Collaborate with Admissions to support enrollment goals.
• Represent SU in the Northern Shenandoah Valley and beyond.
