Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking friendly store teammates who are passionate about helping athletes and delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet customers, learn their needs, and guide them to the right products while upholding brand standards.

You'll also support merchandising, pricing, inventory, and safety procedures, contribute to a welcoming environment, and be ready to assist the team across the floor with a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their needs to support their shopping experience.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards, signage, pricing, inventory presentation.
• Promote company programs including loyalty, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and SOPs; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
