Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is looking for in-store professionals to deliver exceptional experiences to athletes of all abilities. You will engage customers, understand their needs, and provide informed product recommendations on the sales floor.

You’ll assist with onboarding teammates, uphold merchandising standards, and promote loyalty programs, while staying coachable, collaborative, and accountable in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by engaging athletes to understand their needs and provide clear, accurate product information.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert of their area of the store.
• Maintains efficiency in process execution while ensuring products are ready for athletes to purchase and engaged when/how they want.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans and signage requirements.
• Promotes customer participation in loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label enrollment.
• Creates an inclusive store environment and adheres to safety, loss prevention and SOPs.
