Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Erie, PA is seeking a Specialist - Field Experiences to help create memorable athlete experiences on the sales floor. You will lead hands-on product trials, support events, and deliver outstanding customer service while building brand loyalty.

You will work with store teams to train colleagues, follow merchandising standards, and drive participation in loyalty programs. A high school diploma and 1-3 years in retail or customer-facing roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of retail or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to engage athletes and translate needs into product recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by engaging athletes to understand needs and provide product information.
• Anticipates athlete needs and drives sales through recommendations.
• Onboards and trains new team members in best practices and store processes.
• Acts as go-to expert in designated process categories.
• Ensures products are ready for purchase and athletes are engaged where they shop.
• Maintains merchandising standards, signage, pricing, and inventory presentation.
• Promotes participation in loyalty programs and other company initiatives.
• Creates welcoming environment and treats teammates and athletes with respect.
• Follows safety, loss prevention, and SOPs, and external guidelines.
