Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is looking for a Customer Advisor to help athletes across the store. You will greet shoppers, understand their needs, and deliver confident product knowledge to ensure a seamless experience from checkout to loyalty programs.

In this role you will maintain merchandising standards, support the team, and uphold safety and loss prevention practices while fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment for teammates and athletes alike.

Qualifications

• Greet teammates and Athletes and understand their needs while delivering helpful product knowledge and customer service.
• Follow floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation standards.
• Promote loyalty programs and enrollment in store services.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures and applicable laws.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Assist the team and perform other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs and support their shopping experience with accurate product knowledge.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory replenishment.
• Promote programs like loyalty, warranty, and private label cards.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs and comply with applicable laws and guidelines.
• Foster an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome and respected.
• Be ready to support the team across the store and handle additional tasks as needed.
