Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking an Equipment Services Tech to maintain, assemble and repair equipment for athletes at our House of Sport location. You will also assist on the sales floor with product knowledge and customer service to create an elevated experience for every athlete.

The role emphasizes accurate repairs, safety checks, and efficient shop operations while partnering with leadership to ensure high-quality service and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent bicycle assembly skills.
• Ability to adjust to priorities and manage time wisely.
• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, maintains and repairs action sports equipment per company/vendor standards.
• Assist with bike services: repairs, parts replacement, accessory fitting, safety checks, cleaning and lubrication.
• Snow equipment: cleaning, sharpening, waxing, polishing and prep.
• Diagnose faults and provide repair estimates; educate athletes on necessity of repairs.
• Assemble new equipment and perform quality checks with lead.
• Sales floor: understand athlete needs and recommend products/services; maintain friendly environment and product knowledge.
• Assist with purchase of accessories as needed.
• Operations: suggest workflow improvements and maintain records; perform other tasks as assigned.
