IMI Industrial Services Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer LOCAL to the Athens, GA area to design mechanical and structural systems for industrial projects. The role involves using CAD tools to create detailed designs and drawings for fabrication, with collaboration across project managers, fabricators and clients.

• Bachelor degree in mechanical/structural design is required.
• Minimum two years of mechanical design or structural detailing experience.
• Recent experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Create mechanical and structural CAD designs enabling fabrication for industrial/construction projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings for client approval.
• Develop bills of materials for cost estimation.
• Coordinate construction plans with clients, architects, engineers, and professionals.
• Check drawings to minimize errors and support purchasing/production/installation teams.
