Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering required.
• Active Professional Engineer license required.
• 7+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong experience with structural supports for mechanical and piping systems.
• Experience with seismic and wind restraint design.
• Understanding of fabrication/installation of mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings and delegated design packages.
• Strong communication and client/construction team collaboration skills.
• Hands-on involvement in construction processes, not just desk work.

Aufgaben

• Design and seal structural calculations for skid systems, supports, and attachments.
• Design pipe support systems for gravity, lateral, seismic, and thermal loads.
• Design seismic restraints for piping, ductwork, and equipment.
• Perform wind load analysis for rooftop/exterior equipment.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and delegated design packages.
• Ensure designs are practical and constructible with project teams.
