Job summary

American University is seeking a part-time undergraduate Work-Study ATEC Studio Assistant to support the recording studio operations on campus. The candidate must be enrolled in ATEC 415/615, Sound Studio Techniques, and demonstrate strong organizational skills, punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a creative environment.

This position is limited to current AU students with an active FWS award, and duties include supporting day-to-day studio operations and other duties

Job Description

Summary: The Audio Technology Program seeks a part-time undergraduate work-study ATEC Studio Assistant to support day-to-day operations in the ATEC Recording Studio. The candidate must have completed or be currently enrolled in ATEC 415/615, Sound Studio Techniques. In addition, we seek an individual who demonstrates strong organizational skills, is punctual, detail oriented, and has the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and creative environment.

Essential Functions

• Support day-to-day operations in the ATEC Recording Studio.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Part-time. 6 hours per week.

Salary Range

$18.40 per hour.

Required Education and Experience

Current AU student with an active Federal Work Study (FWS) award. The candidate must have completed or be currently enrolled in ATEC 415/615, Sound Studio Techniques. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, is punctual, detail oriented, and has the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and creative environment.
