Job summary

Amazon LEO is seeking a Hardware Test Systems Development Engineer to design, develop, and implement comprehensive test solutions for satellite payload phased array antenna hardware design verification. This role requires expertise in analog/digital hardware systems and design, power design, and automated lab test development.

You will enhance verification processes to meet stringent space-performance standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
1+ years of experience with signal and/or power integrity.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, build, and operate hardware test systems for satellite hardware design verification at the bring-up, sub-system, and system levels.
Drive alignment with key partners and stakeholders on verification strategy.
Collaborate with design engineers to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
Build quantitative models (test coverage, reliability, throughput) to inform design trade studies and design modifications.
Analyze test data and generate comprehensive test reports with recommendations.
Perform root cause analysis on test failures, lead corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement of the test systems.
Optimize test coverage, reduce test time, and improve measurement accuracy.
Stay current with emerging test technologies and industry standards.
