Job summary

Broadcom is seeking an ATE Test Development Engineer for its R&D centers in Irvine, CA or San Jose, CA. You will develop ATE test programs for high-speed networking switches, drive hardware test and probe integration, and optimize test programs for better yield while maintaining product quality.

You will collaborate with Product and Design engineers, release test programs to production Asia, and support debugging of complex failure mechanisms across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Teradyne UltraFlex tester platforms.
• Ability to independently develop test programs and complex test flows.
• Experience debugging and bringing up test hardware on ATE.
• Proficiency with data analysis software/languages and volume data correlation.

Responsibilities

• Develop ATE test programs for high-speed, high-power network switches.
• Drive hardware development including final test and probe with PCB/designer/vendor partners.
• Debug and bring up test hardware on ATE in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize test programs to reduce test time while preserving quality.
