Job summary

Holland America-Princess is seeking an experienced ATCS Systems Engineer to support Alaska Railroad's advanced train control systems, focusing on PTC integration, validation, and testing. The role involves working across computing, networking, and database domains to ensure safe, stable operations.

The candidate will participate in after-hours on-call rotations and contribute to the design, validation, and deployment of PTC subsystems in test and production environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with PTC and safety-critical systems is required.
• Experience in implementing, validating and testing complex control systems.
• Ability to work across computing, networking, and database domains.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automated test environments including servers and networks.
• Perform system validation and acceptance testing of PTC software releases.
• Administer PTC subsystems and associated servers across test and production spaces.
• Manage messaging and database systems supporting PTC operations.
• Support production deployments under change management and Hours of Service rules.
