Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced, Full-time Air Traffic Control Instructor-II to join the Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Nashville ATCT / TRACON (BNA). The role involves delivering high-quality classroom and simulation-based training to developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs, with mentoring for Remote Pilot Operators and potential curriculum design contributions.

The ideal candidate will have FAA CPC certification with substantial live-traffic experience; direct CPC

Qualifications

• US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years of FAA CPC live-traffic experience or recent contract Instructor at an FAA facility.
• Experience with ATC simulators and scenario design for training.
• Direct CPC experience at Nashville ATCT / TRACON is preferred but not required.
• Strong teaching skills and student-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO); participate in curriculum design and development.
• Maintain readiness for FAA laboratory and classroom certifications and deliver training to meet facility needs.
