The role requires independent problem-solving, security clearance eligibility, and the ability to coordinate with FAA standards to ensure safe, compliant operations across NAS and Army aviation.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience installing and maintaining Air Traffic Control equipment.
• Experience developing procedures to sustain ATC equipment.
• Ability to adjust ATC systems to maximize signal and range on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ATC systems installation, evaluation, maintenance, and certification.
• Fine-tune and calibrate landing systems to meet technical specs.
• Resolve critical issues and can stop use of ATC systems when required.
• Maintain STARS and DASR ATC equipment.
• Verify meteorological sensors and adjust ground-to-air frequencies.
• Assess equipment against FAA and Army standards.
• Review maintenance logs and open trouble tickets.
• Conduct initial shift readouts of key parameters.
• Maintain certification authority for ATC navigational aids and radar systems.
