Job summary

The Lytle Park Hotel, Autograph Collection, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks an At Your Service Agent to operate the hotel switchboard, handle guest inquiries, and coordinate communications.

You will connect calls, greet guests, record requests, relay messages, and assist with wake‑up calls and emergency communications, contributing to smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate PBX switchboard to connect interoffice and house calls
• Answer, screen, and route outside and in‑house calls efficiently, maintaining standards
• Keep record of guest requests and ensure completion
• Operate radio system to relay in‑house messages and information
• Input wake‑up calls
• Place welcome calls to guests
• Understand and respond to emergency situations and procedures
• Utilize PBX and front‑office computer system
• Maintain smooth functioning of the hotel telephone system
• Coordinate emergency communications to fire and emergency response units
• Accept all messages for in‑house, expected arrival and function guests and ensure efficient distribution
• Review daily listings of upcoming hotel events
• Provide general hotel operational background to guests
• Report telephone‑related problems to Front Office Manager
• Assist guests with dialing instructions as requested
• Accept time and charges from outside operators; deliver to Front Desk to ensure timely posting to the guest’s account
• Process paperwork as directed during off‑peak periods
• Complete competitive survey daily
• Maintain neat and orderly work area

Compensation

Hourly rate: $17.00 – $20.40 per hour. Actual compensation packages vary based on skill set, experience, certifications and location.
