Job summary

Wichita Public Schools seeks a Future Ready Advocate to support At‑Risk students through the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Accountability. You will collaborate with school staff, families and community partners to implement targeted strategies and build positive relationships that improve attendance, behavior and academic progress.

The role may involve home visits, after-hours outreach, and coordinating community resources; you will monitor student needs, maintain confidentiality, and serve

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Paras working in a Title School must have a minimum of 48 accredited college credits verifiable with a transcript or pass a state approved assessment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff for the benefit of students.
• Build relationships with at‑risk students and monitor attendance, behavior, and academics.
• Develop individualized student success plans with measurable goals.
• Coordinate services from school and community resources.
• Provide counseling or refer to counseling services as needed.
• Respond to students within 24 hours and conduct home visits as required.
