Job summary

Applitrack seeks a Student Success Liaison/At-Risk Students for NMHS. The role supports planning and implementing instructional strategies to maximize student achievement, with emphasis on identifying and aiding at-risk learners.

The position requires a Texas teaching certificate, bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and organizational skills. It is a full-time, exempt role reporting to the principal and At-Risk administrator.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with Texas teaching certification.
  • Texas teaching certificate required.
  • Certification appropriate to subject/level.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and provide appropriate learning experiences within the assigned area(s).
  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and suitable for students’ maturity and abilities.
  • Guide learning toward district curriculum goals.
  • Employ varied instructional techniques and media.
  • Assess student progress and communicate with parents as needed.
  • Identify at-risk students and design instruction to support them.
  • Collaborate with special education to modify curricula per IEPs.
  • Develop and implement student behavior plans.
  • Maintain accurate records as required by policy and law.
  • Be available to students daily and to parents by appointment.
  • Supervise teacher aides and volunteers and provide evaluations.
