Job summary

Beatitudes Campus seeks At Home Caregivers-Non Certified to join our team on a part-time basis. You will provide non-medical in-home support, companionship, and personal care to Beatitudes Campus residents and Off-Campus clients in their homes or in transitional settings.

Work includes weekends and evening shifts with overtime eligibility. Requirements include assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, driving if needed, and documenting observations accurately for supervisor

Beatitudes Campus is seeking At Home Caregivers-Non Certified to join our team Part-time. Must be available to work weekends and evening shifts!

The At Home Caregiver (Non-Certified Caregiver) provides non-medical, in-home support services for comfort, safety, and general supervision of senior clients. He or she provides companionship to those individuals requiring guidance and support to ensure a safe, protected, clean, and orderly environment. This position is also responsible for personal care to residents of Beatitudes Campus and Off-Campus clients in their personal home or in a transitional setting. This position is non-exempt from overtime pay.

Requirements

• Assist the client with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and lifting up to 25lbs
• Assist client with instrumental activities of daily living such as light housekeeping, pet care, meal prep and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Also assist with feeding as indicated. Escort clients to and from appointments, errands and activities. May drive own car or client’s car.
• Perform delegated tasks as instructed by supervisor.
• Observes and reports client’s condition and safety hazards to supervisor and office team in a timely manner.
• Documents observations and activities in an accurate, complete and timely manner.
• Possesses organizational skills necessary to carry out visit/shift and to complete assigned tasks.
• Completes the Home Companion logbook after every shift to keep client status and care plan information current.
• Provides documents to keep employee information and certifications current.
• Protects client health information according to HIPPA and federal and state law and regulations.
• Maintains professional appearances, attitude and demeanor while on duty.
• Performs other miscellaneous tasks, which would normally be required of a non-medical caregiver.
• Escorts clients to and from appointments, errands and activities. May drive own vehicle or client’s vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to obtain

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable form of transportation (own vehicle required)
• Vehicle registration and insurance
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Fingerprint clearance card
