The Aerospace Corporation seeks a qualified candidate for a flight dynamics role supporting EED/EMFD in the cislunar domain. You will perform astrodynamics analyses, optimize trajectories, and develop flight mechanics software as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a Master’s-level technical degree, 0–1 year of experience, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Travel and on-site work at multiple locations are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an accredited program (pursuing or conferred within last 12 months)
• 0-1 year of industry work experience
• Experience in space mission analysis/design, astrodynamics, or trajectory optimization
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Fortran, or MATLAB

Responsabilités

• Perform astrodynamics and orbital mechanics analyses including orbit propagation and constellation design
• Analyze combinatorial optimization and multi-objective optimization problems
• Develop and integrate flight mechanics software and tools
• Support nominal launch and deployment sequences, anomaly resolution, and on-call events
