Job summary

The Panganiban Lab at Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Research Assistant to join a collaborative team studying asthma and airway diseases. You will work with mouse models, cell culture, and molecular biology to understand factors driving airway inflammation and to identify potential therapies.

Responsibilities include performing experiments, recording data, and analyzing results, while collaborating with senior staff.

Qualifications

• RAII requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related work experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• RAIII requires Bachelor's degree in a related field with 1 year of related experience or a Master's degree in a related field.
• Starting range: $22.00–$25.72 per hour for RAII (RAII) and $52,624–$62,150.40 annually for RAIII.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments and record data following research protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory work and experiments.
• Analyze data and perform statistical and graphical analyses.
• Design and execute daily laboratory experiments with senior staff.
• Train students and junior personnel in lab techniques and equipment operation.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Keep lab spaces organized and ensure safety compliance.
