Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Kelada Lab in the UNC Department of Genetics seeks a Research Technician to perform in vitro cell culture experiments that identify genes influencing responses to asthma and COPD exposures. The role includes training in the cell culture model, application of experimental design principles, and statistical analysis of data. It is ideal for candidates between undergraduate and graduate/professional school, offering opportunities to develop analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in vitro cell culture experiments related to asthma and COPD research.
  • Apply experimental design principles to study genetic and environmental risk factors.
