Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is hiring an Assurance Senior Associate in the Seattle/Everett area to deliver industry-focused audit and other assurance services to middle-market clients. You will build client relationships and help drive growth while advancing your technical accounting skills and professional development.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required.
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
• 3+ years of financial statement auditing in a public accounting firm.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Experience with time management, project management and organization.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather information and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on balance sheets and income statements.
• Assess internal controls and provide improvement recommendations.
• Discuss business recommendations with managers and partners.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and participate in firm-wide learning programs.
• Build relationships with clients and internal teams; support the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
• Contribute to work-life balance through team activities and structured programs.
