Job summary

Jobot is helping a growing Midwest CPA Firm find an experienced Assurance Manager to lead audit engagements, manage teams, and build client relationships. The role focuses on technical accounting, risk assessment, and staff development, in a collaborative, growth-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 5+ years in public accounting, and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge. The firm offers a hybrid schedule and opportunities toward partnership as it expands nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA license or active pursuit is required or ongoing.
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience focusing on audit and assurance.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Identify and communicate accounting and financial reporting risks.
• Provide recommendations to improve controls and reporting.
