Job summary

BDO USA, PC is seeking an Assurance Intern for Third Party Attestation to learn and assist in SOC reports (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3) and related controls testing. Work under the engagement team to document, validate, test and assess control systems.

You will review internal controls, prepare work papers, and develop client-facing relationships while applying accounting or IS education. Travel may be required; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
• Focus in Accounting or Information Systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Testing and documenting internal control systems in various industries.
• Participating in the review of internal controls.
• Assisting in prep of reports and recommendations for work performed.
• Preparing work papers per BDO policy.
