BDO USA is seeking an Intern in our Assurance practice in Minnesota. You will gain hands-on experience through structured on-the-job training, working with experienced professionals to learn audit processes, GAAP/GAAS, and client communications. You will contribute to the audit team and complete an accounting or audit research project.

The program emphasizes learning, coaching, and developing critical relationships to maximize career success within the firm.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting.
• Pursuing a Master's degree in Accounting preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsabilités

• Participates in on-the-job training and becomes familiar with GAAP and GAAS.
• Assists with audit processes using BDO methodologies.
• Provides support to audit staff during engagements.
• Communicates with clients and related parties about audit issues.
• Documents work in working papers using BDO templates.
• Completes an assigned accounting or audit research project and presents findings.
