Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a motivated Intern for our Assurance practice. You will apply classroom knowledge, develop skills through hands-on involvement, and work with senior staff on client engagements to learn audit processes and standards.

Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting is required, with a preference for pursuing a master's degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication are expected as you collaborate with teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, required.
• Pursuing a master's degree in Accounting, preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Participates in on-the-job training and learns GAAP and GAAS.
• Familiarizes with BDO audit methodology to assist audit stages.
• Provides support functions to audit staff during engagements.
• Communicates with clients and related parties on audit issues.
• Prepares working papers using BDO tools and templates.
• Completes an accounting or audit research project and presents findings.
