Job summary

Ideal candidates are accounting students enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, pursuing CPA credits, with strong communication and teamwork skills, and MS Office proficiency. This on-site internship provides learning opportunities and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting.
• Pursuing a Masters degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participates in a structured on-the-job training program and becomes familiar with GAAP and GAAS.
• Becomes familiar with BDO audit methodology to assist with audit stages.
• Provides support functions to the audit staff during engagement.
• Communicates with clients and related parties on audit issues.
• Prepares and documents work in working papers using BDO tools and templates.
• Contributes ideas to audit teams and responds to team members' input.
• Completes an assigned accounting or audit research project and presents findings.
