BPM LLP is seeking an Assurance Intern who will gain exposure to diverse industries and work closely with a Coach and Buddy to grow in audit knowledge. You will learn to analyze financial statements and perform audit procedures under supervision, with opportunities to engage in regional events and a final team project.

The role supports growth in public accounting, offering real-world experience across multiple industry groups and a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• GPA minimum 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics.
• Pursuing or obtaining CPA licensure requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Able to start in January and work in California offices (San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Long Beach, Sacramento).

Responsibilities

• Receive Assurance training from Learning & Development and leaders.
• Learn and perform audit procedures to assess accuracy of financial statements.
• Assist in evaluating internal control effectiveness with the team.
• Engage in regional intern events and collaborate on a project.
