Job summary

BPM LLP is seeking an Assurance Intern in California to join a team of audit professionals. You will gain exposure to multiple industries and work with a personal Coach and Buddy to grow your skills in audit, disclosures, and calculations.

The program offers hands-on training, collaboration with Assurance leaders, and internship experiences across regional events and projects. You’ll start in January at one of BPM's California offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics (BS/BA/MASTERS/CERTIFICATE).
• Demonstrated interest in pursuing CPA licensure requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to start in January and work in one of our California offices (San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Long Beach, Sacramento).

Responsibilities

• Receive comprehensive Assurance training from Learning & Development and leaders.
• Learn and perform audit procedures to assess accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Assist in evaluating internal control systems and collaborate with team members to deliver quality work.
