Wiss is seeking an Assurance Entry Level Associate to support the Assurance Department in delivering accurate and compliant financial information. You will report to the Practice Area Manager and work in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field.
• Internship experience in the public accounting industry is preferred.
• Candidates should have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office; QuickBooks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare clear documentation for internal and client review.
• Acquire knowledge of the client’s business and accounting systems to tailor auditing approaches.
• Conduct client audits, compilations, & reviews in line with firm standards.
• Interact with clients and staff to gather information and resolve problems.
