Wiss in New York City is seeking an Assurance Entry Level Associate to join the Assurance Department, supporting clients to ensure accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Practice Area Manager, you will review financial statements, assist with audits, and develop your accounting career in a collaborative, growth-focused environment with training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• Internship experience in public accounting preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare clear documentation for internal and client reviews.
• Acquire knowledge of client business and accounting systems.
• Conduct client audits, compilations, and reviews.
• Interact with clients and staff to gather information and resolve problems.
