Job summary

Wiss is seeking a Tax Staff Associate to guide clients in tax planning, compliance, and strategic decision making. The role emphasizes staying current with tax law changes and collaborative work in a client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field.
• CPA path is highly desired.
• Internship experience in public accounting is preferred.
• Master's in Taxation is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare personal, partnership, business, and trust tax returns and extensions.
• Prepare personal and business tax projections and quarterly estimates.
• Respond to tax notices on behalf of clients.
• Create and organize workpaper files and perform other projects as assigned.
• Conduct basic tax research and participate in planning discussions.
