Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks an Assurance Associate to prepare financial statements with disclosures and apply GAAP principles as needed. You will document, validate, and test internal controls for engagement effectiveness and quality.

The role may involve reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements. You will travel as needed to meet firm and client needs, contributing to a collaborative, professional team at BDO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or statistics or CPA candidate required.
• Master's in Accountancy preferred.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements with disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
• Document, validate, test and assess internal control systems for engagements.
• Contribute to reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements as needed.
• Travel as required to meet firm and client needs.
