Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Associate to prepare financial statements with disclosures and to apply basic GAAP as needed. The role will document, validate, test, and assess client internal control systems and may participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required OR Bachelor's degree in other focus area and CPA certification, required
• Master's in Accountancy, preferred
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, required
• Leadership experience, preferred
• Accounting-based internship, preferred

• Prepare financial statements with disclosures and document, validate, test and assess internal controls
• Apply GAAP principles and draft basic financial statements with disclosures
• Support reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements as needed
