Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Associate to prepare financial statements with disclosures, applying GAAP as needed and documenting, validating, and testing internal controls. The role may involve reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

You will work across control, GAAP, GAAS, and methodology areas, contributing to audit engagements and ensuring quality service. Travel may be required as part of client assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or statistics, required.
• CPA eligibility required to sit for CPA exams.
• One or more years of prior audit experience required.
• Experience with public accounting or consulting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements with disclosures and GAAP awareness.
• Document and validate control effectiveness within client environments.
• Support reviews and agreed-upon procedure engagements.
• Apply BDO methodologies and ensure proper documentation of work papers.
