Job summary

UT Southwestern is seeking an Assistant Manager Respiratory Therapy for the Cardiovascular Service Line (Nights). You will lead the respiratory therapy team, collaborate with clinical staff, and support care for adult, geriatric, and neonatal patients as part of daily respiratory care services. Qualified candidates include an A.A.S.

in respiratory care, Texas license and NBRC registration, BLS and NRP within 90 days, with 5 years of critical care experience. BSRT preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in respiratory care is required; bachelor degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of critical care experience as an RRT.
• Texas Medical Board license and NBRC registration; BLS, NRP within 90 days.
• Specialty areas may require additional certifications depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to NBRC requirements, AARC guidelines, and codes of ethics; manage staff to meet productivity targets.
