The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) is seeking an experienced and results-driven leader to serve as the Assistant General Manager, Infrastructure Delivery. This executive will provide strategic oversight of major construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects that support BART’s operations and long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years of professional experience in construction, engineering, or project management with at least four (4) years in management. Transit experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages and oversees capital and operating construction projects and initiates departmental budget and forecast for staffing, equipment, materials, supplies, and funds.
• Manages and oversees management teams; oversees training, development, performance management and discipline.
• Oversees the development and administration of department goals, policies, and priorities; monitors service delivery and allocates resources.
• Directs large scale projects and contracts related to engineering and architectural design and construction; negotiates major change orders.
• Oversees the financial control and administration of projects including budgets and schedules.
• Represents the Office of Infrastructure Delivery to executive staff and external agencies; coordinates with other departments and organizations.
