Overview
The Assistant Food Service Supervisor assists the Certified Dietary Manager with the daily operations of the dietary department, according to facility policy and procedures and federal/state regulations. The Assistant Food Service Supervisor provides leadership and guidance to ensure that food quality, safety standards, and resident expectations are satisfactorily met.

Licensing Requirements
Preferred, but not required to have Certified Dietary Manager Certificate.
Experience Requirements
Prior experience in healthcare foodservice required.
Two years’ experience in foodservice management preferred.
