We are seeking an experienced assistant foodservice director to join the TRIO Community Meals team in Detroit, MI. You will assist with overseeing culinary, safety and sanitation, and operations functions for the account.

You will recruit and lead a large team, ensure high quality food and service, and drive efficient, profitable operations with strong leadership and communication.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years’ supervisory experience.
• At least two years’ foodservice experience.
• Proven track record of financial responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.

The Role at a glance

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated assistant foodservice director to our TRIO Community Meals team in Detroit, MI. As an assistant food service director, you will have the opportunity to assist with overseeing all culinary, safety and sanitation, and operations functions for the account.

• Recruiting, training, and retaining a large staffing team, including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering teams.
• Ensuring that the operation delivers high quality food and friendly service.
• Ensuring that the business runs in a professional, efficient, and profitable manner.
• Demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills with all employees.

What we're looking for

Must-haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• At least two years’ foodservice experience.
• Proven track record of financial responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• ServSafe Manager certification.
• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation Range

$60-$70K
