SCOPE OF WORK

Professional/Technical Title: (Associate Project Manager Level II - Mechanical)

Duration of Service Required: 52 Weeks

Normal Work Week: Monday through Friday

Hours of Work:

• Technical functions: 40%
• Administrative functions: 60%
• Field location: 0%
• Office location: 100%
• No Right of Waiver required

Description of Work:

Responsibilities

• Work as Assistant to the Design Manager.
• Prepare minutes of meetings, budgets preview sheets, draft waiver requests.
• Coordinate with disciplines the technical comments on drawings and specifications from various stakeholders.
• Help prepare permit requests.
• Prepare documents to send to the printer.
• Help in the preparation of project bid documents and PowerPoint presentations.
• Track and manage submittals and approvals.
• Help in the preparation of project specifications (Division 1).
• Assist and/or represent DMO during the construction phase for various projects.

Qualifications

Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree Mechanical Engineering

Licensing Requirements: NYS PE License not mandatory

Special Skills/Training Requirements:

• Familiarity with design management or project management preferred.
• Familiarity with public sector projects preferred.
