Job summary

On Twelfth, a contemporary women’s brand, is seeking a Women's Apparel Associate Designer in Los Angeles to support exclusive brand product development. You will design monthly collections, create CADs, and build precise techpacks while coordinating with vendors.

The role requires a strong eye for trend, collaboration, and attention to detail, with a background in fashion design and 1–3 years of experience. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in women’s apparel design (internships considered with strong portfolio).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong sketching and CAD skills.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabrication.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Passion for women’s fashion and trend awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing exclusive monthly collections.
• Create technical flat sketches and CADs using Adobe Illustrator.
• Complete accurate techpacks using Microsoft Excel.
• Research market trends, fabrics, trims, color palettes, and silhouettes.
• Communicate with vendors on fabric, trim, and sample development.
• Attend and contribute to fittings, ensuring design intent is maintained.
• Organize and maintain design archives, sample inventory, and digital files.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet design and production timelines.
