About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing wealth management firm in Sheboygan, WI that is looking for an Associate Wealth Advisor to join their advisory team.
This is a strong opportunity for an emerging financial professional who wants to grow into a long-term Wealth Advisor role. You’ll work closely with senior advisors, support client meetings, help build financial plans, and gradually take on more responsibility with client relationships, planning conversations, and business development.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both financial analysis and relationship-building. The right candidate is polished, detail-oriented, coachable, and serious about building a career in wealth management, financial planning, and client advisory work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support senior advisors with client meetings, financial planning, and follow-up items.
- Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information.
- Prepare meeting agendas, planning materials, presentations, and client communications.
- Help build and update financial plans covering cash flow, investments, retirement, insurance, education funding, tax considerations, and estate planning goals.
- Research financial scenarios and prepare recommendations for advisor review.
- Maintain accurate client records in planning and CRM systems.
- Respond to client questions with professionalism, urgency, and care.
- Build trusted client relationships and gradually take on parts of the client conversation.
- Support client education, appreciation, and community engagement efforts.
- Complete licensing and professional development needed to grow into an advisor role.
What They’re Looking For
- 1+years of experience in financial services, banking, investment operations, client service, accounting, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field preferred.
- Strong interest in building a career in wealth management or financial planning.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
- Ability to handle confidential client information with professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Client-first mindset and genuine interest in helping people make confident financial decisions.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting financial advisors or working in a wealth management environment.
- Familiarity with financial planning, portfolio management, CRM, or custodial platforms.
- SIE completed.
- Series 7 and Series 66, or willingness to obtain them.
- Wisconsin life and health insurance license, or willingness to obtain it.
- Interest in earning the CFP certification.
- Connection to the Sheboygan community or interest in becoming involved locally.
